Our well established Global Trading client is urgently looking for a Business Objects Developer to join their front office application developments team. Contract is to start as soon as possible for 3 months initially with the potential for further extensions and an increase in the scope of the role. The client is looking for candidates with strong analytical skills and a proven track record of delivering data warehouse solutions.

Developer will be responsible for the design, development and documentation of complex universes/reports for use across a range of functions within the global trading environment.

Essential requirements are 5+ years exp of business objects 5.16 (or higher), Webi 2.7 (or higher), BCA and Oracle. It would be highly advantageous to have knowledge of the following; Business Objects report migration, Informatica PowerCentre, Unix, PL/SQL, DB2 and VBA. Previous experience of working within an energy trading environment would be beneficial.
